Skill Instructors (Direct Support Professionals)
A Skill Instructor is a professional who teaches, guides, and supports individuals in developing specific abilities to enhance their independence, performance, and overall quality of life. They use structured techniques, hands-on training, and personalized instruction to help learners acquire and apply new skills in various areas, such as daily living, music, fitness, outdoor games, arts & crafts, social interactions, academics, etc. Skill Instructors adapt their teaching methods to meet the needs of each learner.

Skill Development Coordinator (Direct Support Professionals)
A Skill Development Coordinator is a professional responsible for overseeing a group of learners, ensuring their active participation in skill-building activities, and supporting their learning process. They coordinate class attendance, monitor engagement, and reinforce instructional goals by working closely with Skill Instructors to facilitate effective learning. Their role includes motivating learners, providing guidance, addressing challenges, and ensuring that each individual acquires and applies the skills being taught. By fostering a structured and supportive environment, the Skill Development Coordinator helps learners stay on track, maximize their potential, and achieve personal growth.
